Why we started
Every September, thousands of students arrive at Hillhead and Garthdee with one suitcase, into a room that is a bus ride from the nearest shop. The first evening goes on finding a duvet. Every May, the same duvets go in the skip, and the next intake buys them again.
We are students at the University of Aberdeen and RGU who did exactly that. Landed is our answer: a kit chosen for these halls, bought against confirmed orders, and carried up the stairs before you land.
How we work
Your £20 deposit is what lets us buy the stock. Nothing is guessed, nothing is wasted, and the price stays low.
We deliver on check-in day and confirm the building and room with you the week before, on WhatsApp.
Take a kit, or mix and match single items from £3. Already have a duvet? Leave it out.
In May we collect boxes for summer storage and buy back what you no longer need, so the kit goes round again.
Where we deliver
Hillhead (University of Aberdeen), Garthdee (RGU), the city centre halls and private flats anywhere in Aberdeen. Hillhead is the first stop on delivery day, Garthdee the last, mid-afternoon.
Why a deposit and not the full price
You never pay in full for something you have not seen. £20 holds the box and tells us you are serious; the balance is paid at your door, by card or cash, once the kit is in your hands. Cancel free up to 14 days before check-in and the deposit comes straight back.
